For grades 3-5 this chalk drawing captures value, texture and emphasis. This take 2 sessions to complete. First we discussed Amelia’s journey of flying. My K-2 did a fun project focusing on value, texture, and space. This was a 2 part project. We started with the skyline painting the most distant set of buildings in grey then followed with the skyline in black. With a piece of cardboard texture was created by dragging the edge to make tire marks
