Middle schoolers worked on line, texture and movement in this technical drawing with a nice tie-in to history. Watercolors and a salt resist created this floating aircraft.

Fly with Amelia Earhart
For grades 3-5 this chalk drawing captures value, texture and emphasis. This take 2 sessions to complete. First we discussed Amelia’s journey of flying.
